About
Dr. Michael Blanc is an interventional cardiologist at Community Medical Associates Heart & Vascular Center and a member of the medical staff at San Angelo Community Medical Center.
Dr. Blanc received his medical degree from Northeastern Ohio University College of Medicine and completed his residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire. He completed a fellowship in cardiology at the University of Pittsburgh.
Dr. Blanc is the medical director of interventional cardiology at SACMC and the co-host of SACMC’s weekly SAVOR cooking show. He serves on the medical advisory board of the Laura W. Bush Institute for Women’s Health.
He established and leads “Walk with-a-Doc” every first and third Wednesday of the month. The program provides patients with one-on-one conversation with physicians while also exercising.
Dr. Blanc brings new and innovative programs to the Concho Valley on a regular basis including venous stenting, a life-changing procedure that can significantly improve the quality of life for patients.
A dedicated physician, he provides clinics in San Angelo and Sonora. Dr. Blanc is married to attorney Richelle Blanc. They have four daughters and one son.
